CLIO DE LA LLAVE
FOUNDER & PRESIDENT
Clio is one of Vancouver’s top digital marketing minds, always on the forefront of the latest innovations and global trends. After completing her studies in Marketing & Communications at BCIT, Clio first began working in promotions for a national communications agency. She then founded Booje Media in 2009 and has since helped usher her many clients into the digital marketing era.
Clio’s vision for Booje Media has always been to offer her clients only the most premier of all digital services, and is therefore proud to have handpicked her team not only for their technical proficiency, but also their creativity and diversity. A true community leader, Clio enjoys helping with many local charities and is a strong supporter of other entrepreneurs in the city.
Director of Operations
With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Grace has worked as both an Operations Manager and a Marketing Manager for a number of global brands. With her unique background, Grace is able to approach marketing campaigns by integrating creative thinking and data analysis to optimize success.
At Booje Media, Grace works closely with all team members to ensure marketing goals and objectives are met. This includes ensuring each member is able to increase marketing efficiency and optimize marketing resources for clients. One of her top priorities is aligning the work of Booje Media with its founding boutique vision. Grace is committed to upholding the standard of producing high-quality deliverables while maintaining a personal touch.
In her free time, Grace is a full-time mother to a rambunctious little girl, Beau. This role includes preparing Beau for the thrills of being Youtube’s next big sensation.
Creative & Web Developer
Kristina earned her degree in Computer Science at De La Salle University in Manila, Philippines. Upon graduating, Kristina decided to pursue her passion in graphic design in Vancouver, Canada. She took the New Media Design and Web Development program at British Columbia Institute of Technology.
As a design student, Kristina’s expertise is vast, from design logos, posters, brochures, and business cards, to websites for individuals and organizations. Her style is contemporary simplicity at it’s finest. Aside from design projects, she is currently perfecting her skills in video production, visual effects and web animation.
During her free time, Kristina likes to travel and explore different cultures (especially Canadian!).
INFLUENCER AND MARKETING ASSOCIATE
Sandra has worked at Vancouver’s top public relations firms – and has always been drawn to the division of fashion and lifestyle. After completing her Bachelor of Arts at the University of British Columbia, she went on to specialize in public relations, where she received her Certificate from Simon Fraser University.
Over the past three years, Sandra has successfully secured national and international coverage, organized press conferences and managed talent at festivals. Most recently, she was the international public relations liaison at a global fashion retailer based out of Vancouver.
Sandra’s ability to establish relationships with ease is quintessential to her role as an Influencer and Marketing Associate. Her passion for writing and ability to think critically and creatively make her a valued asset at Booje Media.
Outside of the office, you can find her perfecting her pointe and unwinding with family and friends.
Danika is a passionate storyteller who has written for publications like BC Living, BC Business, and TV Week as well as for companies like London Drugs, Telus, and the Cayuga Collection. She has mastered the art of capturing and conveying brand voices and has experience writing in a variety of styles for a range of platforms including print, digital, video and VR. As a multiplatform storyteller, she is always on the lookout for new ways and new places to share compelling content. Her educational background is in Creative Writing and Business, which she studied at the University of Victoria and is reflected in her creative, conversion-driven approach to content creation.
When she’s not at the office, you can find Danika jogging the Seawall, writing a script at a coffee shop, or catching (and sometimes performing at) a local comedy show.
Shortly after graduating from the University of British Columbia, Michelle joined Booje Media. Photography, an eye for design, and a keen understanding of the digital space are skills she uses to create content and build social media strategies that shine. Keeping up with ever-evolving industry trends and understanding audience behaviours keeps her glued to the screen. Before Booje, Michelle implemented and ran social media strategies for luxury eyewear and automotive brands, where she honed her skills in brand voice and campaigns.
Outside the office, you can find Michelle trying out new restaurants or editing photos.
PR & EVENT MANAGER
With a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, Arpen has more than 10+ years in the communications industry and has previously worked for a leading CPG brand and the world’s largest independent PR firm in Vancouver & London, UK. A dynamic and results-driven PR professional, her background is in strategic development and execution of innovative media relations & marketing programming with extensive experience in the consumer, health and corporate industry. She’s led PR campaigns in both agency and in-house settings and has expertise in media relations, advertising, community outreach, external communications and event planning. Arpen has worked on a variety of global brands including Starbucks, Nabob, Swarovski, Unilever & Shell.
In her spare time, Arpen thrives on adventure and travel and is a true Canadian who has a love for playing ball hockey.
Influencer & Marketing Associate
Prior to joining the Booje team, Taylor worked as the director of Content and Partnerships for a Vancouver based influencer. In this role, she gained extensive knowledge of influencer relations, brand strategy, content creation and event planning, and worked with top international brands such as Amex, Joe Fresh, Dove, CB2, and Campbell’s.
Taylor approaches projects with a level-head and clear vision. This, combined with her detail oriented-organizational skills, ensures all aspects of our influencer program and events are successfully executed. With an educational background in marketing, Taylor has the tools necessary to deliver memorable campaigns.
When she is not in the office, you can find her exploring local shops, sweating through a boxing or spin class, or watching a documentary.
